Afghan Journalists Safety Commitee

This program helps provide support for Afghan media workers in emergency situations.

AJSCE has a board of directors, composed of well-known media workers from reputable media outlets, based in Kabul with eight representatives stationed in 8 security zones across Afghanistan. We document threats and violence against journalists from across the country.

We raise awareness and provide safety and first aid trainings to journalists in terms of dealing with working in the most dangerous parts of the country, potential kidnapping situations, and understanding their legal rights within the Afghan constitution.
